Pepita (Pasta Piccante)

Fee Pepita is packed with spicy chilies, which are accompanied by vegetables as onions, artichokes, garlic and parsley. All the ingredients are specially selected and hand picked from couple of small farms in southern Sicily. The result is a truly traditional blend of all the best traditions, ingredients and tastes that Sicily can offer.

Ingredients: Chilies, extra virgin olive oil, vegetables in variable proportion, onions, olives, artichokes, mushrooms, mushrooms porcini, garlic, parsley, salt, vinegar. After open, keep refrigerated and consume preferably within 3-4 days.

Origins: Sicily, Ragusa. Almost all ingredients in Fee pasta sauces and antipasti come from Sicily, the area of Ragusa, which is famous for large-scale cultivation and hundreds of small, privately owned vegetable and fruit plantations. This southern part of Sicily is considered to be a true agricultural heaven, thanks to excellent geographical position and other important conditions - warm Mediterranean climate, protective hills, and air with a perfect level of humidity.

Health: Chilies help to fight migraine and prevent cancer; they lower blood pressure and have loads of vitamin C inside. Needless to say, chili peppers can help you to burn fat and lose weight. Fee Pepita also contains onions and garlic, which are loaded with precious antioxidants.

Use: Pepita is most commonly used with arribata, but can also be a great addition to hot sandwiches and pizzas.
